Every Easter holiday, mainstream competitions organised by the Uganda Rugby Union take a break. But on Good Friday, to kickstart the four-day weekend, players and fans engage in a touch rugby gala. Nanyonjo, with seven international test caps, will lead Uganda at the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup – Division One tournament in San Pedro, Côte d’Ivoire from April 9-20, 2025. A squad of twenty-eight players was named, including four who have graduated from the U20 national team and twelve switching from the 7s national team.
