By Ethar El-Katatney| Medium@ I roll up to the airport at 5pm, ready for a 6:30pm flight back to NYC. I have no luggage and I'm TSA Precheck + gold status so I'm early, even. Just as I get through TSA:Annoying. My first meeting is at 8am tomorrow. I see there's an earlier flight that should leave at 5:20pm that's been delayed and hasn't even started boarding yet (UA1909). So I try my luck and walk to that gate to see if there's any standby seats. I'm told it's fully booked. I shrug and head to the United lounge. I am more annoyed.
By Victoria Holmes Verified, Ethar El-Katatney| Editor & Publisher Verified Victoria Holmes | for Editor & Publisher@ These days, there’s no shortage of options for news and information, but that also means getting noticed is tougher than ever before. That is why it helps (and is more important) to not only know your audience —who they are — but to know what motivates them and what can pique their interest.
By Ethar El-Katatney| Medium@ 9 years ago, I picked up two suitcases and ran away from love. 7,477 miles away, to be precise. But I didn’t know I was running away from love. I thought I was running towards it. I thought I was running away from home, to build a new home I would love. And I did. I built a new home. I loved my new home. But I never stopped loving home home. How can you love multiple homes though, when loving one means abandoning the other? To be constantly torn in two. You cannot be here and there.
