The future operators of the amphibious vehicle M3 from General Dynamics European Land Systems-Bridge Systems will be trained holistically with the system. At the beginning, the participants learn the theoreticalbasics using eLearning, they then drive the amphibious vehicles individually onland and in the water. This is followed by the training of the land-water andwater-land transition.

This year 19 Nations plan to participate in the exercise,and two additional Nations will be observing. The exercise, which is focused ontesting and improving interoperability, will test about 160 capabilities,including two that are particularly relevant in the context of COVID-19. Many aspects of CWIX 2020 are being done for the first time.
