Schon länger bekannt sind die Pläne für den Bau eines Piers, sodass kein Tendern mehr nötig ist, um auf die Insel zu gelangen. Bereits im vierten Quartal 2025, also zum Beginn der Karibik-Hauptsaison 2025/26, soll sowohl der neue Pier als auch die Renovierungen und Erweiterungen fertig sei und in Betrieb gehen.
