Gabe Allen is an eclectic Colorado-based journalist with a passion for science and the environment. After graduating from Skidmore College with a B.A. in Biology in 2016, he followed his heart out west. He found his first professional job as an arts and entertainment editor at the Jackson Hole News&Guide, where he won two Wyoming Press Awards. After the News&Guide he covered biodiversity, climate and popular science for Discover Magazine. Currently, Gabe is pursuing an MA in Journalism at The University of Colorado Boulder with an emphasis on multimedia storytelling and environmental justice.
