Roughly 250 students from schools across Pittsburgh received preventative and restorative dental care from local dentists who volunteered their time. More than 100 local volunteers also worked the event. Pittsburgh was the most recent stop for TeamSmile, which has 35 events scheduled this year.

About 25 repairs and a dozen people stopped in over the course of the inaugural event. Subsequent events are planned at the Point Breeze location the first Saturday of each month. One attendee, Mikea Wall, brought a second hand desk chair to Repair Cafe after two of its wheels broke off.
