It happened Wednesday night on M-115 near the US-131 South on-ramp. Information is limited at this time, but Michigan State Police say the driver was thrown from the car and died at the scene. The passenger was taken to the hospital. They say they believe speed was a factor in the crash. 9&10 is working with police to provide more details on this deadly crash.

Wexford County police say they were called to the Wexford Civic Center in Cadillac around 12:15 Wednesday afternoon. That’s where they say a man stole a Silver Dodge pickup truck in the parking lot. Just a few minutes later, deputies spotted him driving on Plett Road near 13th Street. He led police on a chase down M-55 South all the way into Missaukee County.
