The Middle East Forum (MEF) is a nonprofit think tank based in the United States, founded in 1990 by Daniel Pipes. It became an independent organization in 1994 and is dedicated to promoting American interests in the Middle East while upholding Western values. MEF focuses on several key areas, including countering radical Islam, fostering acceptance between Palestinians and Israelis, managing Iranian influence, and addressing political instability in the region.
