Biography

Started as a writer at the launch of the UK's first Internet magazine (Internet Today), kicking off a career across gaming and home computer publications including launch editor of the world's first online gaming magazine (NetGamer), several computer books and partworks. Moved to Gartner as an editor, typing in US English about the joys of IT research. Teaching analysts to write to the point and address a specific audience with key issues. Promoted to Senior Writer and took a more hands-on role, working remotely with Gartner's global analysts to deliver focused research. Moved into startup land BRYTER, helping explain automation to a legal audience and beyond as the company experiences hypergrowth. Creating white papers and articles that help position the BRYTER brand. Most recently at Infor writing ERP SaaS success stories and giving them a human angle. As a freelancer, I have written for tech news and business service sites, and a growing portfolio of B2Bs and startups across IT security, RPA and automation. All focused on getting across their key messages in highly competitive spaces.
