Biography
George Buid is a freelance photographer and journalist based in Metro Manila, Philippines. He is a self-taught photographer who started his career in photojournalism and visual documentary storytelling in 2014. He won an award for 1st place in the Where Your Taxes Goes photography contest in 2021. He focuses on culture, lifestyle/fashion, labor workers, human interest, current news, and documentary in both visual and written stories. Yet, he occasionally writes and covers science, history, sports, politics, and art. George continuously works on personal projects but is also always open to assignments.
