Biography

I have worked in public relations, corporate identity branding, airline marketing (for the Eastern Air Lines Shuttle), advertising, education, publishing, and other fields. I've written articles for Travel+Leisure, National Geographic Traveler, Men's Health, Good Housekeeping, Real Simple, and dozens of newspapers around the world. I worked for America Online for 12 years, launched Airfarewatchdog.com in 2005 and sold it to Expedia in 2007, continued to work for the site until February 2018, and then returned to my roots as a freelance and syndicated writer, mostly for newspapers. I live part of the year in LA and part in NYC. But mostly in LA these days.
