Biography

Georgina Quach is a British-Vietnamese journalist and content writer. Georgina studied English Literature at Oxford University, where she was awarded the Murdoch Scholarship. She specialises in long-form features, celebrating the POC artists and creative pioneers who are carving out their own space within mainstream media. Having been awarded the Journalism Diversity Fund, Georgina will be studying the News Associates course in Multimedia Journalism. As a daughter of refugees, she feels passionately about giving displaced groups a voice, and illuminating the human faces behind the figures. Having taught herself data analysis and coding skills, Georgina looks forward to experimenting with storytelling and networking with peers across borders.
