I am alive, contrary to what those of you whose messages and emails and projects I’ve ignored for the better part of six months might think. But I have not felt well. The new diagnoses I’ve acquired range from the expected (tears in both ankles) to the gobsmacking (frontal lobe epilepsy), and since a kidney infection at the end of January, I’ve struggled to keep up with paid work let alone enjoy time with friends or foster my creative endeavors.
