"Journalism isn't a career, it's a lifestyle. I've decided to dedicate my life to seeking truth and reporting it." Giacomo A. Luca is the weekend producer/anchor at WLIO "Your News Now" in Lima, OH. In the fall of 2013, Giacomo helped produce for the number #1 morning show in Chicago, the WGN Morning News. He worked along side the well-known Larry Potash as a Morning News Anchor Intern. He helped enterprise and produce stories on a daily basis, as well as helped to produce several orignal segments such as "Larry's World", "The Friday Dance", and "Surfing the Web." In the summer of 2013, Giacomo worked with WXIX/FOX19 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He worked as a news intern which focused in all aspects of TV news proudction. In 2011, Giacomo worked at WAWS/FOX30 & WTEV/CBS47 Action News Jacksonville in Florida. He worked as a news intern which focused in reporting and producing. He was the 2012/2013 photo editor of the Roosevelt Torch (student newspaper). As an independent journalist and student he frequently produces multimedia packages usually involving print, video, and photography. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, he graduated from Oak Hills High School in 2010. He currently attends Roosevelt University (Chicago) and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism. His professional focus is in broadcast media, specifically television. He is adept in all aspects of multimedia and news production. He is photographer and videographer trained to apply the Adobe Creative Suite. He is a writer and producer, who excels at capturing audiences through social media. In 2009/2010, he served as editor-in-chief of the Oak Hills High School Tartan (student newspaper). He was also a reporter, editor, and videographer for the Oak Hills Network (student television station).
