  • Injured Mountain Biker Rescued Off Tunnel Trail in Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue, County Fire and American Medical Response were dispatched to the trail at 6:48 p.m. to rescue the 30-year-old man who had fallen and suffered an upper leg injury, SAR member Jason Copus said. SAR members and county firefighters used a rescue litter to carry the biker to a SAR vehicle and then an ambulance, he said.
