By Giannina Ong Verified| Mochi Magazine Verified Turning the typical domestic laborer stereotype on its head, “The Cleaning Lady” enters its fourth season on Fox. The show follows Thony, an undocumented cleaning lady, who gets swept into working for a Las Vegas–based cartel. Previously a surgeon in the Philippines, she immigrated in order to give her son the chance to get the medication he desperately needs to survive. After witnessing a murder, she saves her own life by offering to be the cartel’s cleaning lady.
