The public hearing will be adjourned to a later date until further notice, the town’s website says. The meeting was scheduled for April 23. Council President Peter Marino said the town is waiting to learn more on a contractual question it posed to the agency.
By Glenn Epps Verified| Lehigh Valley Live Verified The New Jersey Department of Transportation announced that pavement repairs on Interstate 78 will restrict traffic to one lane for at least a mile on Monday. The roadway will be milled and paved in order to repair a depression in the highway near Greenwich Township, just outside of Phillipsburg, the state department explained. Interstate 78 eastbound will be reduced to only one lane overnight. Construction is scheduled to happen between 7 p.m. on Monday until 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
