  • I-78 traffic reduced to one lane near Phillipsburg for overnight pavement repair

    By Glenn Epps Verified| Lehigh Valley Live Verified The New Jersey Department of Transportation announced that pavement repairs on Interstate 78 will restrict traffic to one lane for at least a mile on Monday. The roadway will be milled and paved in order to repair a depression in the highway near Greenwich Township, just outside of Phillipsburg, the state department explained. Interstate 78 eastbound will be reduced to only one lane overnight. Construction is scheduled to happen between 7 p.m. on Monday until 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
