Biography
Born and raised in Shandong, China. Learned cross-cultural communication from CUC, the Communication University of China. Use to work at the QTV in Qingdao (or Tsingtao as some call it) as a local news reporter and anchor in both Chinese and English. Entered CGTN Digital in 2016 (when it was still called CCTVNEWS) and have been here since. I love computers. During my entire childhood, the only time I cried endlessly to my parents was when I asked for a home computer. I learned programing in primary school and is still doing it at work (mostly for TamperMonkey scripts). Video gaming used to be my only entertainment. I created my first MIDI music piece in high school. After Effects was the tool I used to polish my video works in college when fellow students were stuck with iMovie. That's one of the reasons I'm doing tech news now. I think a lot of people around the world have misunderstood China. It's not going to destroy the world. It's just a country filled with Asians who are desperate to get their lives better. The Chinese are not that different. My lifetime wish is to see the Chinese dealing with foreigners like normal people and vise versa.
