Biography

I am a passionate, award-winning journalist, editor, and writer with experience creating content, developing brand strategies, and maximizing SEO writing for small—to medium-sized businesses. I've worked at startup B2C publications and built B2B blogs from the ground up, focusing on keyword research and SEO strategy. I specialize in beer, food, and travel writing, winning awards from the North American Guild of Beer Writers (NAGBW) for several of my articles. As an avid craft beer connoisseur and gender studies enthusiast, I want to empower the roles of all femme-identifying and non-binary folks in craft beer. In 2024, the NAGBW, Craftbeer.com, and Allagash named me a recipient of the Diversity in Beer Writing Grant. After graduating with a journalism degree from Northwestern University, I attended culinary school before working in restaurant management while moonlighting as a brand ambassador at 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. I later moved into the beer industry full-time as an account coordinator at 5 Rabbit Cerveceria. I received my Master's degree in the Food Studies program at NYU while freelancing as a social media manager at Brooklyn Brew Shop and staff writer at Hop Culture. After earning my Masters, I became the Managing Editor for Hop Culture and, eventually, the Senior Content Editor for Hop Culture, Untappd, Untappd for Business, and Ollie, covering the world of B2C and B2B craft beer across editorial, digital, and event platforms. Additionally, I organized and executed the largest weeklong women in craft beer festival in the country, Beers With(out) Beards, and the first-ever event celebrating the vibrant, colorful voices of the Queer community in craft beer, Queer Beer.
