Sporting a healthy 400-inch V-8, he liked to “casually race” unsuspecting hot rodders, even in his later years. He also had a pretend ‘Panic’ button sticker on the dash, which looked pretty real! Unnecessary, but cool. It’s like the ‘7’ button on microwaves, which rarely, if ever, gets used in any capacity. ‘Sports Mode’ on your SLR camera?
By Greg Marsten| Burnett County Sentinel Newpaper@ Downtown Grantsburg has a new once-a-month shopping option with the Stone Trading Company at 206 Oak Street, just a block south of downtown. Owner Kelsey Carey has taken over the location and business, previously known just for making holiday wreaths that are sent around the country each winter, which was a solid business, but it left the rest of the space pretty empty for all but six weeks or so each winter.
