BRANS; an abbreviation of BRAVE and SEXY for the men's undergarments label. More than just a display of visuals, BRANS embodied authentic storytelling to connect with those that shared our style, self-image and values. We championed for positive body image and walked the talk with our first capsule collection in 2016, aptly coined "BRAVE" featuring 5 sizes (from size 28 Small, to a size 46 double XL). However small, we understood the importance of representation; maybe even more so in the fashion industry. To celebrate diversity, we included models and social media influencers with different ethnicity. We connected, through thousands of our Instagram followers, with a global community that celebrates love in its varied (beautiful) forms. #loveislove Being brave meant making all the right choices, for all the wrong reasons. We insisted on sourcing for organic cotton that were slightly more costly which originated from small local farmers in India. This helped to preserve biodiversity and possibly support job creation for the locals. Later in 2016, we introduced our second collection in micro-modal which featured 3 styles (briefs, boxers and jockstraps). 2018/19. The retail landscape is extremely competitive and with mediocre success, rising manufacturing costs and declining sales revenue, we had to close our e-store and pursue alternative marketplaces online. The journey, nonetheless, had been incredibly inspiring and enlightening. THANK YOU! to all who made BRANS RETAIL possible. "If you don't stand for something, you'd fall for anything."
