So, when given the opportunity to reciprocate, the Laurel Middle School seventh-grader did just that. Charlotte in December joined her classmates in doing nine community service projects, one of which involved making care packages for patients at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Neshannock Township. Her mother received similar packages while undergoing treatment at Hillman.
