Biography
Independent Journalist & Researcher The quest for truth and the search for human rights violations behind the single columns in print journalism have always pushed me to find the unspoken boundaries. As an investigative journalist and researcher, I have been following the people and the stories in the conflict zone and that of my own country. From refugee camps to war zones, the journey of people’s minds and the causes of the conflicts have been my areas of focus for five years.

By Hana Vahab| Maktoob@ As we drove across the margins of the migrant settlement in the Purana Pantun Pool Road in Mayur Vihar, the winds carrying mud grains were striking against us intermittently, forcing us to take cover for our eyes. Commonly called Yamuna Kadar, this settlement is situated on the outskirts along the banks of the Yamuna River, under the flyover. A line of tents with tarpaulins, huts made of a minimum amount of clay mud, and a few thatched roofs are seen along the way.
