Biography

I’m an independent journalist reporting on inequality across the American West. I write everything from breaking news to magazine features. My stories focus on individual human narratives to illustrate systemic issues related to housing and homelessness, health equity and the uneven effects of climate change. My work has appeared in The Atlantic, High Country News, Mother Jones, Portland Mercury and Street Roots. I also fact-check features for Eater, with the Vox Media Network.
