On Monday, Spectrum Healthcare Resources notified the state that it lost a contract with the United States Department of Labor and, as a result, will lay off 280 employees who work remotely and throughout the country. This includes 206 field nurses and 71 vocational rehabilitation counselors. Terminations will be effective May 29.
