Haroon Janjua is an award winning freelance journalist and analyst reporting for various Americian, British and European media outlets since 2012 from Pakistan. From the militant violence in Pakistan and Afghanistan during the recent decade to human rights and political affairs in the South Asian region, he has also reported economic and financial reporting. Janjua's work has been published in The New York Times, The Times,The Guardian, Deutsche Welle, [TV and Digital] Fox News, Al Jazeera, Vice News, South China Morning Post, Huffington Post, The National, The Telegraph, Refugees Deeply, Devex Asia Democracy Chronicles, BBC World Service, Daily Mail, Los Angeles Times, Nikkei Asian Review, Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, Dawn, Daily Times, The Friday Times, and The Nation. He is a Pulitzer Center grantee 2021 and recipient of 2015 United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) Award.
