I started writing for VAVEL UK, an international sports website, in June 2020. I am now the Premier League Editor for the site, overseeing content for all 20 clubs. Newcastle University announced a £250m plan earlier this year to tear down the Castle Leazes halls of residence and redevelop the area with modern accommodation. Consultants said the site, which was mostly developed in the 1960s, could "no longer provide a satisfactory level of student accommodation".
