Biography

I love the earth. I love to make people feel happy when they come home. An Interiors Blogger and Stylist; I am also a Social worker with a background in health and the Founder and Director of an Australian national not for profit organisation, Diabetes Counselling Online (DCO). DCO offers free e-counselling & diabetes education to all people with diabetes and their families. My Interiors Blog, Recycled Interiors, has a focus on sustainable and ethical, interior decorating creating unique, bespoke, conscientious interiors. I am passionate about living a life that leaves this beautiful planet in a state that allows future generations and other creatures we share the world with, to live long and well. I am also passionate about all of us feeling happy when we walk in the door. I think a home you that works for you & creates a little magic in your life is so very important. I am also passionate about people’s health and wellbeing and believe these things can not be separated. Finally and most importantly I am Mum to three gorgeous boys and as a type 1 diabetic since aged 12, this was something I thought I may never have. My Kids in all their amazing loveliness make my world. They are the light of my life, my miracles and my main inspiration for treading lightly on our planet – they will be the ones dealing with the future left by our generation – yours and mine, our children and grandchildren.
