Chief Stephen Tanner reported the statistics to the Halton Police Board as part of a review of the 2024 crime stats in the region. Halton Police arrested 739 people for intimate partner violence in 2024. Of those, 159 were out on bail, accounting for 21.5 per cent of the arrests for that crime.
