Eight teens arrested as 'stolen' cars stopped using stinger device and seized amid garda op in two counties

Gardai on patrol observed two "stolen" cars engaged in "dangerous driving" shortly before 6pm on Monday, April 21. Both offending vehicles were reported to have been subject to "unauthorised taking" in recent days. A stinger device was deployed and the cars were brought to a stop on the N25 at Grannagh roundabout near Waterford city.

The horror attack occurred shortly after 1pm this afternoon in south Belfast,Police rushed to the scene following a report of a woman being attacked by a number of dogs. A number of the animals were restrained by specialist officers at the scene. It is understood none of the dogs involved in the attack are believed to be XL Bullys. They were contained in an alleyway and later taken from the area safely.

And fundraising efforts are now underway to help rebuild the popular church, hoping for a brighter future. The church, which is in the Diocese of Raphoe, saw a fire break out overnight on Easter Monday. Five fire brigade units and gardai rushed to the scene to help control the blaze. They first received reports of the fire at around 4am on Monday.
