According to the Austin Fire Department, a two story house sustained damage from an unknown event that caused house to collapse. ALSO: Multiple child abduction attempts raise Williamson County neighbor's concernsOne person was found inside the home by AFD crews and was extricated. They were transferred to Austin-Travis County EMS for treatment.
By Isabella Bass, Tara Brolley Verified| WOAI-TV (San Antonio, TX) Verified A house reportedly exploded in northwest Austin Sunday morning, destroying the residence and damaging neighboring properties. It happened around 11:30 a.m., with residents across Austin and surrounding cities reporting that they heard the loud boom. Austin Fire Department crews rescued three people from the wreckage of the two-story home at 10407 Double Spur Loop. One firefighter also suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized, according to the department.
