The shooting happened on Florida Avenue near the NoMa — Gallaudet U Metro station, according to D.C. police. Police said all three officers are “conscious and breathing” after being transported to hospitals. The suspect was not identified. Police said an investigation into what led to the gunfire is underway. A news conference is expected later Monday morning.
