Starting Tuesday, Portillo's will open five of its Chicago-area locations at 6:30 a.m. instead of their typical 10 a.m. Don't expect hot dogs or hamburgers at the early hour, though. The Oak Brook-based chain is rolling out a breakfast menu with egg sandwiches, pastries, desserts, fruit cups and coffees. Oh, and Italian beef sandwiches.
