  • BMC recalls Kaius 01 gravel bike following steerer tube failures

    By Jack Luke Verified| BikeRadar Verified BMC has issued a voluntary recall on its Kaius 01 gravel race bike due to "instances where certain fork steerer tubes have separated under heavy-duty riding conditions". BMC says there are "few reported instances to date" but invites affected owners to visit a BMC retailer or dealer for inspection and, if required, replacement of "affected forks with a more robust version". If a replacement is deemed necessary, the fork will be installed at no cost to the owner.
