Biography

Hello! I am a sports journalist/reporter, with a long-held ambition to take up commentary and broadcasting. I have studied with News Associates in Manchester on an NCTJ-accredited sports journalism course, achieving an A in the sports module. I collaborated with the agency Sportsbeat to provide written reports during the 2021/22 season for various outlets, including Sky Sports, FourFourTwo, BT Sport, Manchester Evening News, SussexLive, Watford Observer, among others. Examples of my work can be found in the portfolio on my profile. Reporting from games, particularly football, is a dream that I decided to pursue during the pandemic after a change in career. As a result, I have unfortunately been unable to gain commentary experience due to the strict COVID guidelines - however, I am confident that I can adapt quickly to the demands of on-air reporting. I have a major passion for football, and have excellent recall of statistics and events. In addition, I have a wide knowledge of the game as a whole (across multiple leagues) and thoroughly research any game I am asked to cover, which I believe would serve me well on air. Other sporting interests of mine include (but are not limited to) snooker, tennis, rugby union (the Six Nations in particular), and more recently cricket.
