Biography

I am an Oklahoma-based photographer and author, whose works have been featured by the Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographer Magazine, 405 Magazine, Oklahoma Today Magazine, The Oklahoma Gazette, and other local publications. I am also a freelance writer and photographer for a few magazines in Oklahoma City. I have authored two books, with my third scheduled to publish sometime in 2022. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I spent most of my career as a pilot before going back to school to earn a doctorate in education. When I am not taking photos or writing, I work as a university professor, and I spend my free time teaching and sharing my passion for photography through workshops or virtual settings. My professional certifications include: -Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) -Certified FAA Part 107 Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operator I love teaching, and I offer an array of workshops and personal or virtual classes. Subjects include intro to photography, advanced photography techniques, lighting, and more.
