The Old Stone House Restaurant in Ballinlough scooped two awards at Sligo’s Radisson Blu Hotel. Its chef Ray O’Connor won the county’s best chef award and it also won the award for the county’s best restaurant. The coveted county award for ‘Pub of the Year’ went to J.C. Doorly’s – The Corner House in the county town.

Roscommon Garda Station saw the most recorded incidents at 37 during last year with Ballaghaderreen recording 28 incidents. Castlerea and Boyle Garda Stations both recorded 19 incidents, with Tulsk recording 17. This is an increase on 2023 figures when 126 burglary and related offences were reported within the county.
