  • Logansport man sentenced to 9 years after guilty plea

    By James Bennett III Verified| Yahoo Verified A Cass County man who pled guilty to molesting a child younger than 14 was sentenced last week to nine years last week. Three of those years could be served with Cass/Pulaski Community Corrections, and the other six will be on probation. James E. Williams, a 76-year-old, pled guilty to the level 4 felony charge in February. According to court documents, Williams touched the victim inappropriately between Jan. 1, 2019, and Dec. 31, 2020.
