Greiwe and the Indiana Wesleyan women’s basketball team fell in the NAIA title game to Dordt (Iowa) last month. It’s a big step forward after not making it out of the Round of 16 a year ago. The Wildcats were hot to start the season by going 23-0. They finished the season 34-3. “As a team, we had a great season,” said Greiwe, a 2022 Columbus East graduate.

Kent was the leading player on offense and on defense and helped guide the Panthers to a sectional title. He is The Republic Boys Basketball Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. It’s no secret Kent came from a family of basketball. His father Rob was a former Panther basketball standout and played collegiately at the University of Indianapolis.
