Biography
James Porteous started writing music and concert reviews when he was 14-years-old. In time, he moved on to work in a public library in Toronto and then shifted to television He worked as an archivist at CBC Toronto for 10 years and then as a digital librarian and archivist for Al Jazeera English, first in Washington, DC and then in Doha, Qatar. He has continued to write throughout, doing fiction, magazine articles, and blogs.
