JAMIE GRANET-BEDERMAN Jamie Granet-Bederman is an Emmy-award winning producer and television veteran. Currently, she has joined Boardwalk Pictures as the EVP of Alternative and Talent. Prior to Boardwalk, she served as showrunner for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” from 2020-2022, overseeing all elements of the production of the longest-running talk show on television and #1 late-night program on digital. Under her leadership, “The Tonight Show” was first in the key 18-49 demo for all episodes in the most recent September 2020-September 2021 season. With Granet-Bederman at the helm, “The Tonight Show” was the only late-night program to increase total viewership year-over-year for the 2021 to 2022 season. During her tenure with Fallon that begin in 2009, “The Tonight Show” and “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” were collectively nominated for 19 Primetime Emmy Awards. Granet-Bederman also won a Producers Guild of America Award in 2015 for Outstanding Producer of Live Entertainment Talk Television. While with Fallon, Granet-Bederman served as a producer on the 2017 Golden Globe Awards, and on the 2010 Emmy Awards and was twice named to the “Billboard Women in Music” list. In 2022, Granet-Bederman won a Webby Award for the show’s viral hit “Broadway is Back” with Lin-Manuel Miranda. The former senior talent executive has launched three late-night talk shows throughout the course of her 20-plus year career, starting with “Last Call with Carson Daly” on NBC. She ran the talent department for both “Late Night” and “The Tonight Show” with Fallon behind the desk before rising through the ranks from booker to producer to showrunner. Granet-Bederman was responsible for the production of several major roadshows, including three live post-Super Bowl shows from Indianapolis, Phoenix and Minneapolis. In 2012, she produced a special “Late Night” shoot with First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House and in 2016 secured a “Tonight Show” in-studio appearance by President Barack Obama. Five years later, “The Tonight Show,” under Granet-Bederman’s purview, became the first show to welcome a sitting president back to late night with an interview with Joe Biden in December 2021. Granet-Bederman began her career at Viacom, working for both MTV and VH1. A graduate of Tulane University, she resides in New York City with her husband and two sons.
