  • Julian Charles acquired from administrators via a pre-pack deal

    By Jane Revell-Higgins Verified| Direct Commerce Magazine Verified Soft furnishings specialist Julian Charles which was originally founded in 1947 and had 70 UK outlets of which 41 were standalone stores, plus concessions, filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators. This led to it appointing of Marco Piacquadio and Alan Coleman of FTS Recovery. A near-immediate sale was made by the administrators to Great Bedding Co.Ltd, which saved 230 jobs across 25 stores and additional concession sites.
