Starting off as a staff writer/photographer for his high school's student newspaper during his freshman year, Jared has grown tremendously through his journalism experiences since then. For his sophomore year, he served as assistant editor, followed by two years as the chief. In the professional world, he has covered high school football games for The News-Herald (Willoughby, OH). Currently, Jared is studying journalism at West Virginia University, where he works on the staff of The Daily Athenaeum.
