Forestry officials say the 12-acre brush fire that started on Garcon Point Wednesday rekindled Thursday, and briefly closed down the road. It only burned about a quarter acre between Mary Kitchens Road and Bay Oaks Drive before firefighters put it out. No evacuations were ordered.
