Praise & Worship Lutheran Church will be hosting the hunt at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, on church property at 9138 East State Highway 76 between Silver Dollar City and Stonebridge Village. Badetito Obafemi, 42, pled guilty in April 2024 to one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. He admitted in court to being part of a romance scam, which targeted victims in Taney County along with communities in Minnesota and New Jersey, from June 2016 through March 2018.
