Bryce Sarmiento, who pleaded guilty to the felony Battery on a Law Enforcement on April 4, was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for seven days served. Sarmiento will serve the remaining eight days of the sentence on weekends. He was also placed on three years felony probation and ordered to pay $1,245.50 in fines.
37-Year-Old Man Charged with Attempted Murder after Attacking another man with a Hammer in Lewiston Friday Morning
By Jaymin Stamper Verified| Big Country News Connection Verified LEWISTON, ID - A 37-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly attacked another man with a hammer near the area of 5th Street and Levee Bypass Friday morning in Lewiston. Lewiston Police were called to the scene at approximately 9:24 a.m. Upon arrival they discovered a man who was bleeding from his head. The victim, 39-year-old Ryan Williams, had to be transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center with serious injuries to his skull.
