By Jc Tinsley| WRUL@ A Saline County man is back out after an early morning arrest at the hands of Carmi Police. Officers pulled over 37-year-old Nathan Mitchell whose information listed addresses of Muddy and Carrier Mills at about 2:19am Friday. The traffic stop happened on Oak at Sunnybrook and resulted in the arrest of Mitchell. He was allegedly driving on a revoked license and was also cited for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
By Jc Tinsley| WRUL@ As of 7:00 AM today, the Ohio River at the Gallatin County gauge location has reached 48.27 feet, exceeding the flood stage of 33 feet. According to the NOAA/NWS Ohio River Forecast Center, the river is rising and is expected to crest at 53.3 feet on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, which is an increase in a tenth over the previous projected crest. Residents are urged to remain alert and take necessary precautions as water levels continue to rise.
