  • Holmes County fatal: Sugarcreek woman dies when her bicycle collides with a pickup

    By Jeanine Kendle Verified| The Daily Record (Wooster, OH) Verified PAINT TWP. – A 20-year-old Sugarcreek woman died Friday afternoon when she turned the battery-powered bicycle she was riding into the path of a pickup on U.S. Route 62. Monica F. Miller, 2596 Township Road 444, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from Holmes County Sheriff Timothy Zimmerly. The crash, which was reported at about 2:20 p.m., happened at Route 62 and state Route 515, about a mile west of Winesburg.
