By Jeff Fitzgerald Verified| WPNM-TV (Lima, OH) Verified LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — It’s official: retail giant Target is coming to Lima. Target Corporation has closed on its purchase of the vacant Macy's site on Elida Road. Target purchased the site for $4.5 million, according to documents filed with the Allen County Recorder’s Office on January 31. The next step in the process is for the Macy's store to be demolished this spring. A brownfield grant was awarded to the Allen County Land Bank to pay for that demolition.
