  • Light the Hoan announces illumination of the bridge's east side

By Bobby Tanzilo Verified, Molly Snyder Verified, Jeff Sherman, Steve Jagler| OnMilwaukee Verified Light the Hoan will begin work to add lights to the east side of the iconic Milwaukee bridge this month, so that both sides of the span will be illuminated. The new lights won’t only be visible to boaters and ships out on Lake Michigan, but also to folks along much of the lakefront, including from Veterans Park, Lakeshore State Park, Discovery World, the Summerfest grounds, South Shore Park and more.

By Jeff Sherman| WTMJ-AM (Milwaukee, WI) Verified MILWAUKEE — Sidney Moncrief was always more than a basketball player to me. Through 10 seasons with the team, he averaged nearly 4 assists per game, shot more than 50% from the field, and scored at a clip of almost 17 points per game.
